Super Save System:
Also known as: Save Super System, especially when Mattapher says it
Origin: Pretendo
Definition: Any system that allows you to save your progress, allowing you to start over from that point.
The Super Save System started with video game emulators, which allow you to play old Nintendo and Sega Genesis games on a computer. While this does have useful purposes for history and such, it's mostly entertaining.
The great part about emulation is you can create "save states," which save the game at any point during play. This makes it incredibly easy to beat any game, by saving and reloading it over and over again. And we called it the Save Super System.
